Help design a mural for Graniteville!
Collaborate with local artist Alice Mizrachi and your neighbors to create a mural on P.S. 22. Make art, share what mental health means for you and your community, and give us your ideas for the mural design. Together, we'll turn those conversations into a neighborhood landmark, a vibrant new mural. Join us for an evening of community-building and rethinking mental health, with art activities and free dinner. Bring friends and family of all ages. Everyone is welcome.
This launch is a pivotal moment for marginalized and under-resourced immigrant and refugee communities in New York City, who suffer disproportionately higher rates of mental illness with significantly reduced opportunity for accessing care.
The two-day training is an opportunity for community stakeholders to learn about the CPIC initiative, discuss effective methods in reducing the stigma around mental health, and increase access to services. We will offer educational and skill based training breakout sessions with tangible resources to address issues the AMEMSA community faces regarding mental health.

This panel discussion, educational and inspirational in nature, will help participants learn about the intersection of mental health, masculinity, and culture. Panelists will share their experiences with emotional well-being, challenges due to culture and/or societal expectations, as well as resources that have been helpful. Though the event is centered around the experiences of men, the event is open to all folks who would like to support the health of a loved one.
These classes are for new meditators as well as experienced meditators. You will be guided into a very relaxed, quiet and still place where you work on a change that you wish to make in your life (e.g. removing anxiety, stress, anger, bringing more joy, happiness, and success into your life). Each class has a theme to it. If you come to these classes on a regular basis, you will learn so many tools to help you enjoy life to its fullest.
